Archiving in the Pandemic
October 28, 2021 / 9:30 to 12:30 • MHA Millyard Museum, 200 Bedford Street, Manchester, NH

Join the New Hampshire Archives Group (NHAG) on October 28 at the Millyard Museum in Manchester for the Fall 2021 workshop — or join us online for this live-streamed event.

While the front doors of many institutions were closed to the public, archivists around the state continued to work on collections care, respond to research requests, and gather new materials documenting the pandemic's impact for future historians and policy makers. This workshop offers an opportunity to reconnect with others and learn about some new projects undertaken during the pandemic. The program will include:
  • Annual business meeting (brief but necessary!)
  • NH Now statewide photography with project director Gary Samson
  • Pandemic Diaries in Derry with Erin Robinson
  • Omeka how-to with Bobbi Slossar, Zach Giroux, and Chris Cooper
  • Tours of the NH Now exhibition at the Millyard Museum

There is no charge for NHAG members. To check or renew your annual membership, visit www.NHAG.org/join and follow the link to our membership portal. Memberships now run for a rolling 12 months with automatic reminders and optional renewals.

COVID-19 protocol: in-person attendance is limited to 35 people; masks are required inside the building; scheduled outdoor breaks/social time.

Advance registration is required for both in-person and online attendees.
