Each spring and fall the NH Archives Group hosts educational workshops for members and other interested parties. We often provide hands-on instruction related to preservation, collections management, access standards, and outreach activities. Our special guest speakers come from archives, libraries, museums, and cultural heritage organizations throughout New England.

Back in 1988, a group of New Hampshire archivists and allied professionals gathered informally to discuss continuing education opportunities and outreach efforts to other individuals and organizations working with historical materials. On May 26, 1993, the NH Archives Group hosted its first formal meeting in Concord, NH, at which time our first leaders were elected: William E. Ross (President); Sherry Wilding-White (President-Elect); and John W. Harris (Secretary/Treasurer). |
