Reimbursement Grants

The New Hampshire Archives Group (NHAG) is pleased to announce the creation of a professional development grant program using a portion of its accumulated reserves. Upon application and approval by the Executive Board, successful applicants will be reimbursed for up to $200 in archival training registration fees (i.e. not travel or course materials) while scholarship funds remain available.

DETAILS:
  • Course topics must address some aspect of archival work, and registration fees must have been incurred after the establishment of this grant program.
  • All current NHAG members (individual or institutional) are eligible for consideration—excluding those serving on the NHAG Executive Board.
  • The NHAG Executive Board will consider reimbursement grant requests as they are received. Priority will be given to first-time applicants, and some decisions may be deferred or declined without cause.
  • After completing their training, participants must briefly outline and evaluate the course in writing for the benefit of other NHAG members. Participants may also be asked to share course lessons with the New Hampshire archives community at a NHAG workshop or other event.

Please note that this is a reimbursement grant, so proof of registration payment must accompany all applications and grants will be made directly to the applicant.
