We hope to resume our regular workshops starting this fall, when we will also hold our annual business meeting to elect new board members.
At the next workshop, we would like to look at the pandemic from an archival perspective. We want to hear about your experience managing a collection, volunteers, and patrons during lockdown. How did your institution adapt? Did you collect pandemic-related materials? What projects did you accomplish? Did you shift to virtual outreach and exhibitions? What new tools and lessons did you learn? And finally, how can NHAG help you get restarted and re-energized? Let us know any time!
One way to tackle a new project with enthusiasm is to acquire and apply new skills, and NHAG is excited to announce a new mini-grant program for its members. Using excess reserves, NHAG will reimburse up to $200 in registration fees for archives-related training courses. Please visit our training grants page to apply.
